Nathalie Emmanuel

Nathalie Emmanuel is a British actor best known for the role of Missandei in HBO's dramatic Fantasy "Game of Thrones". (HBO 2011-19). Emmanuel, who was born and brought up in Southend-on-the-Sea in Essex's famous seaside town She has always been interested in acting. Nathalie began to take acting, singing, and dancing lessons around when she was just 3. Her parents were impressed. Emmanuel developed quickly as a actor and, by the end of her 90s, she had portrayed the character of Nala in The West End production of the highly acclaimed stage musical "The Lion King." Emmanuel tried out for roles on both television and films when she was still a teenager. The actress got her first major breakthrough in 2007, when she became Sasha Valentine on the British soap opera "Hollyoaks" (Channel 4 in 1995- ). Emmanuel performed the role for four years before ending the series in. Emmanuel was given her first break three years after that, when she was cast in the role of Missandei in the HBO show Game of Thrones. She performed the role of Daenerys's interpreter (played by Emilia Clarke).
