Agnetha Faltskog

Agnetha faltskog is most well-known for her role as a soloist from Sweden. In reality, she'll forever be remembered as a former member of ABBA which is the most popular and commercially successful pop band. Her departure from school was to explore music when she was 15, and was soon gaining a following. They signed her to a recording contract with Enghardt, and her debut hit the Swedish charts. Bjornulvaeus, whom she later married was her husband and she joined ABBA. ABBA was one of top pop stars in the entire world during the period of eight years. The group received Gold and Platinum awards all over the globe. Three albums were released following ABBA - 'Wrap Your Arms Around Me,' 'Eyes of a Woman,' and I Stand Alone,' and all of them were extremely well-received in Sweden, and also gained fame in Europe, but not in the U.S. ABBA music became the basis for the jukebox musical Mamma Mia!. Her album 'My Coloring Books that peaked at top 11 on the chart in the UK, was recorded after she had come out of retirement. Her most recent album "A" has been well-received.
